Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data HVAC Local Presence collects, why, and what rights you have. We keep it simple: the site has no analytics, sets no cookies of its own, and has no contact form or newsletter.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Paul-Hartmann LLC (HVAC Local Presence, run by Paul Hartmann), 244 5th Ave, Suite 2031, New York, NY 10017, USA. Contact: info@hvacpresence.pro.

2. Data we collect
- Information you email us: such as your name, business name, address, phone number, service area, photos, and anything else you choose to send so we can work on your Google Business Profile.
- Payment data: when you pay, Stripe collects your card and billing details. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe shares limited details with us, such as your name, email, amount paid, and subscription status.
- Server logs: our host, IONOS, automatically records technical data when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access.
- Google Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
3. Why we use it, and legal bases
- To deliver the services you bought and communicate with you about them (performance of a contract).
- To process payments and keep billing and tax records (contract and legal obligation).
- To keep the website secure and working, through server logs and font delivery (our legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or profile you.
4. Who we share it with
- Stripe: payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- IONOS: website hosting and server logs. See IONOS's privacy policy.
- Google: font delivery, and the business details we enter into your Google Business Profile on your instruction. See Google's privacy policy.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We may also disclose data if required by law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep client emails and project information while you are a client and for a reasonable period after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Payment and billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. Server logs are kept by IONOS for the period set by its own policies.
6. Your rights (GDPR-style)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; receive a copy in a portable format; and withdraw consent where we rely on it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Note for US residents (including California)
We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.
8. How to exercise your rights
Email info@hvacpresence.pro with your request. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will respond within the time required by law (normally within 30 days). For payment data held by Stripe, we can help you contact Stripe directly.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. We will email active clients about material changes.
